Casting Crane is one of the main equipments in the continuous casting technology of steelmaking.The double-beam casting crane is generally composed of a trolley, a cart travelling mechanism, a bridge frame, a sub-trolley, and a gantry hook hanging beam. It is mainly used for pouring melted iron from additive bay of converter to converter; lifting molten steel from refining bay to refining furnace or lifting molten steel from molten steel bay to ladle turret of continuous casting machine When the tonnage reaches 5 tons~74tons, use this type, long working life

The operating mechanism of the cart and the main electrical equipment are installed in the main beam. The electrical room of the main beam is insulated with rock wool and equipped with air coolers to ensure that the electrical equipment operates in a suitable environment.

In order to be safer, the double girder casting bridge crane adopts double reels, double lifting points, and four independently wound steel wire ropes. When one or two diagonal steel wire ropes are broken, the heavy objects can still be placed safely.
