Electric hoist is a kind of special lifting equipment, installed on overhead cranes and gantry cranes. The electric hoist has the characteristics of small size, light weight, simple operation and convenient use. It is used in industrial and mining enterprises, storage, docks and other places.
The electric hoist has a compact structure, and the electric hoist whose motor axis is perpendicular to the axis of the drum adopts a worm gear transmission device. Its disadvantages are: large length, large width, rough structure, low mechanical efficiency, and difficult processing. The hydraulic system is dual-controlled, and the pressure can be precisely controlled by the overflow regulating valve and the magnetic contact pressure gauge. The electrical control department adopts low voltage control to increase the safety of the control system.

Electric hoists usually have two types: CD and MD.MD Model Electric hoists provides two speeds: normal speed and low speed. Its main disadvantages are poor heat dissipation conditions of the motor, poor grouping, inconvenient inspection, installation, and maintenance of the motor, and complicated power supply devices.
 (4) The electric hoist with the motor mounted on the outside of the drum has the advantages of good grouping, high degree of generalization, easy to change the lifting height, and convenient installation and maintenance. The disadvantage is: the length is large.
