Container straddle carrier, a kind of special loading and unloading machinery for handling containers between the front of container terminal and depot, referred to as 'transporter'. Mainly by the portal frame structure, container spreader and lifting system, power and transmission system, steering and travelling system, braking and hydraulic system, electronic control system and other components.
Container straddle carrier according to the function and height is mainly divided into stacking type and transport type, stacking type straddle car is mainly used for horizontal transport and stacking and stacking operations, frame structure is taller, can stack 2 ~ 4 layers of containers. Transport type straddle carrier is mainly used for horizontal transport operation between wharf and yard, without stacking function or can only stack 1 layer of containers.
The main advantages of container straddle carrier:
